Dr Ivo Raitchev

Driven by a passion for excellence, Dr Raitchev has devoted the last two decades to refining his craft and staying at the forefront of dental medicine. He graduated from the prestigious Guy’s, King’s & St Thomas’ Dental Institute, earning the A.H.R. Rowe 1st Prize for excellence in restorative dentistry. Over the years, he has completed postgraduate training including membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, certification in sedation dentistry, certification in laser dentistry and formal qualifications in dental implant surgery.

In addition to his general, aesthetic and implant practice, Dr Raitchev has for over 11 years experience in laser dentistry. He obtained his first laser-dentistry certification in 2014 under the guidance of Anoop Maini through the British Institute of Laser Dentistry, and subsequently completed further formal training with the DeLTA Dental Laser Training Academy under Mark Cronshaw and Stephen Parker both renowned laser experts in the UK. He is also an associate member of the World Clinical Laser Institute (WCLI), reflecting his ongoing commitment to advanced laser techniques.

Thanks to this training and experience, Dr Raitchev performs a wide spectrum of laser-assisted treatments — from veneer removal and laser root-canal therapy to soft- and hard-tissue laser-assisted surgery — offering patients minimally invasive solutions, often with reduced discomfort and faster healing. Laser dentistry with properly trained clinicians has become an increasingly important part of modern dental care, combining precision, safety, and efficiency.

Alongside his laser dentistry practice, Dr Raitchev continues to be a leader in:

– Oral surgery and implants: using guided, computer-assisted implant placement with 3D imaging (CBCT) and custom 3D-printed surgical guides to deliver precise, minimally invasive outcomes.

– Digital Smile Design & aesthetic dentistry: crafting bespoke porcelain crowns and veneers with CAD/CAM technology for natural-looking, harmonious smiles.


His early exposure to dental technology — working alongside his father, a dental laboratory technician — gives him a rare clinician-ceramist insight: from treatment planning to the final cosmetic finish. This background allows him to manage even complex rehabilitations with both technical skill and aesthetic sensitivity.

Based in Jersey at Broad Street Dental and in London at Cherry Tree Dental Putney, London. Dr Raitchev welcomes patients seeking high-quality general, aesthetic, implant or advanced laser-assisted dentistry, and tailors every treatment to their individual needs.

Dr Massimo Giovarruscio

Dr Massimo Giovarruscio, DIP DENT ROMA, Specialist Endodontist

Dr Massimo Giovarruscio is a highly regarded Specialist Endodontist with more than 25 years of clinical experience in saving natural teeth through conservative, evidence-based endodontic therapy. He graduated cum laude from the University of Rome (La Sapienza) in 1995, and following advanced postgraduate endodontic training, he joined the General Dental Council’s UK Specialist Register for Endodontics in 2009.

Dr Giovarruscio divides his time between private practice in Bristol, London and Rome, where he focuses exclusively on complex root canal treatments, endodontic retreatments, trauma management and microsurgical procedures. He prides himself on applying the latest scientific techniques and technologies to achieve excellent clinical outcomes while maintaining patient comfort and long-term tooth preservation.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr Giovarruscio is a clinical educator and thought leader. He has taught endodontics at King’s College London Dental Institute, served as a professor at Sechenov University in Moscow, and is a visiting specialist teacher on the MSc in Endodontics at the University of Plymouth. He is also co-founder, trainer and director of the Delta Dental Academy in Bristol, one of the UK’s leading dental education centres. Dr Giovarruscio lectures widely at international congresses and symposiums and is a prolific author of research papers and endodontic textbook chapters used in postgraduate programmes worldwide.

He is an active member of the European Society of Endodontology, the British Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry, the Italian Society of Endodontics, and is a StyleItaliano Endodontics Gold Member — an acknowledgement reserved for a select group of expert clinicians internationally. CAPPmea

Dr Emma Barrett

BDS L’pool PGDip (clear aligner therapy)

Emma gained her dental degree in 1999 from the University of Liverpool. After moving to Jersey in 2003, she then completed a year-long course in Advanced Restorative Dentistry
from the renowned Eastman Dental School in 2004.

Emma is passionate about Invisalign, an orthodontic appliance that uses clear aligners to align your teeth, and has been using this to create beautiful and natural smiles for her
patients since 2005. To complement this, she has recently completed a diploma in Clear Aligner Therapy in 2021. She loves to attend conferences and courses across the UK and 
Europe to enhance and update her knowledge and keep updated with the latest techniques and technology.

Emma believes in a conservative approach to dentistry to create a smile as natural as possible and her philosophy is to treat patients as she would her family, with utmost care.
Preventative dental care is the foundation of Emma’’s approach to a long lasting natural smile.

In her spare time Emma is very crafty. She also loves to be creative in the kitchen and garden as well as travelling and spending time with her family, friends, dog and bees.

Dr Nick O’Hare

Nick qualified in 1986 from Liverpool University and went on to work in general dental practice in Chichester, Trinidad and Lancashire prior to purchasing his own practice in East Sussex in 1992 before moving to Jersey in 1999.

In addition to routine dental care and cosmetic dentistry, he offers orthodontic treatments for children and adults using fixed braces and aligners. He also enjoys the challenge of endodontic treatment and is happy to work with specialists to deliver implant solutions when and where appropriate. He is keen to put patients at ease believing that the best dentistry is delivered when everyone involved is as relaxed as possible.

Whilst understanding that it is not possible to be an expert in every branch of dentistry he feels fortunate that he can collaborate with in-house specialists to deliver on his maxim “Preserving your teeth: Enhancing your smile”. Outside of work he enjoys choral singing (winter hobby) and from spring to autumn makes the most of Jersey’s location by sailing (racing) and also cruising to nearby French ports.

Dr Andrew Holloway

Dr Andrew Holloway is a general dentist with a strong scientific background and a commitment to gentle, patient-centred care. After completing a degree in Chemistry at the
University of Oxford, he went on to qualify in Dentistry and gained broad experience across the NHS, followed by time in Harley Street and along the South Coast. Since 2019, Andrew
has been based in Jersey, where he provides all aspects of general dentistry with a particular focus on advanced laser treatments using the Waterlase and Epic X systems. His
approach combines evidence-based dentistry with the latest technology to deliver comfortable, precise, and minimally invasive care.

Chloe Taylor

Graduated with Distinction in Oral Health Science from the University of Essex in 2014. A passionate advocate for the philosophy that prevention is better than cure, Chloe has continually advanced her clinical expertise through postgraduate education and hands-on experience.

Chloe has completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Periodontics under the mentorship of renowned periodontal specialist Reena Wadia, deepening her skills in the prevention and treatment of gum disease. She has also undertaken advanced training in the latest evidence- based use of lasers for managing periodontal disease ensuring she remains at the forefront of modern dental care.

Dedicated to delivering personalised care, Chloe tailors each treatment plan to meet the unique needs and goals of every patient, combining precision with a compassionate approach.

In addition to her dental expertise, Chloe has pursued extensive training in facial aesthetics. Her skill set includes anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers, skin boosters, polynucleotides, PRP therapy (including vampire facials and hair restoration).

Chloe is currently undertaking a second Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Aesthetic Injectable Therapies, further demonstrating her commitment to clinical excellence, continuous development, and patient safety.

Natalia Bator

I am the Practice Manager at Broad Street Dental Care, responsible for ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient operation of the clinic. I lead on day-to-day management, patient experience, compliance, and team coordination — supporting dentists and clinical staff in delivering high-quality dental care.

With strong organisational skills and a focus on continuous improvement, I oversee patient pathways, scheduling, training, and regulatory standards to maintain a welcoming and professional environment. I work closely with both the clinical team and our patients to ensure that every visit is managed with clarity, comfort, and excellent service.

Driven by patient-centred care, I am committed to enhancing access to modern dentistry and helping the practice grow its capabilities in advanced treatments, technology, and patient support.

Grace Roberts

NEBDN Qualified Dental Nurse & SAAD Sedation Nurse

Grace is the head dental nurse at Broad Street Dental, overseeing the nursing team. She qualified in 2023 with Kings college London. Since then she has continued to expand her
skills by completing SAAD training to support conscious sedation in clinic and is now currently training in dental radiography to take x-rays.

Grace feels proud to be part of the Broad Street team after following in her mum, Sophie’s, footsteps, who was a dental nurse here for over 15 years!

Joyce Anne Padua

Joyce is an experienced Dental Nurse from the Philippines, bringing more than 7 years of professional expertise to the dental field. Passionate about providing exceptional patient care, Joyce plays a vital role in supporting dentists during a wide range of clinical procedures, maintaining strict standards of safety, infection control, and practice efficiency.

Her calm and caring approach helps create a positive and comfortable experience for every patient, particularly those who may feel anxious about dental treatment. Joyce is committed to ongoing learning and professional development, always seeking to expand her skills and contribute to the best possible outcomes for the patients she looks after.

Madeline Marie

Maddy is a trainee dental nurse who recently joined the practice. She enjoys supporting patients and learning new skills in all areas of dentistry.

As the Office Administrator at Broad Street Dental, I help keep the practice running smoothly every day. From supporting the team and coordinating payment plans, to welcoming patients and assisting with their enquiries, I’m here to make sure every visit feels organised, friendly, and stress-free.

Michelle Falls

Starting in the dental field has been a fun and rewarding new chapter for me, and I’m excited to learn more every day. I love creating a bright, welcoming space where patients feel relaxed and cared for. Outside of work you’ll usually find me going for walks, spending time with friends, or traveling to new holiday destinations. With a bubbly and warm approach, I’m always happy to greet patients with a smile and help make every visit feel comfortable and positive.
